Welcome to JoJolie! Our auctions of brand new designer handbags offer you a chance to get an amazing deal, and hopefully have a lot of fun in the process. It is very easy to participate, so let's get started.

The JoJolie Auction Rules
1. All handbag auctions start at $1.00. There is no minimum price that an auction must reach before it can end. Yes, no minimum price. If an auction ends at $10, we’re happy to sell the handbag to the winner for that amount.

2. When someone bids on an auction, the price of handbag increases by $0.01 and an additional 7 seconds is added to the auction timer. Once the auction timer goes below 30 seconds, it will not increase above 30 seconds again, regardless of the number of bids submitted. For example, if there are 25 seconds left in the auction and 5 bids are submitted, the auction timer will only increase to 30 seconds.

3. The last person to bid before the auction time expires wins the auction at the current price. You want to be this person.

4. To participate in an auction, you need bids in your account. Bids cost from $0.50 to $0.90 each depending on how many you purchase.

How to Buy Bids
To participate in a JoJolie auction, you need to have bids in your account. You can see your bid balance on the "My Account" page. You can purchase more bids by clicking on the "Buy Bids" link next to your username in the upper right when you're logged in, or by clicking on the "Buy Bids" link in the left hand navigation menu in the "My Account" page.

On the "Buy Bids" page, click on the PayPal "Pay Now" button next to the package you wish to purchase. We have partnered with PayPal.com to provide you with an easy and secure checkout experience. Once you complete the checkout process with PayPal, the bids will be added to your account usually within 30 seconds. You can easily check your bid balance by visiting "Bid History" on the "My Account" page.

 
How to Bid
It's easy, just click on the "Bid Now" button. After you click, you will see the auction time and current price flash, as well as your username appear as the "Current Winner". There are two places you can bid: (1) On the Home Page, you can easily bid on multiple auctions; and (2) On the Product Page where you can bid on that particular auction.

Personal Shopper
You can use a Personal Shopper to help simplify your bidding. Please remember your Personal Shopper will only bid for you if there are 4 seconds or less left on the auction timer. You need to give three pieces of information to your Personal Shopper. First, the "Minimum Price", which is the price that the auction must reach before your Personal Shopper will start bidding. Second, the "Maximum Price", which is the price that the auction must reach before your Personal Shopper stops bidding. Finally, "Bids to Use", which is the maximum number of bids you want your Personal Shopper to place for you on that particular auction. Once you have entered these three pieces of information, click "Do My Bidding" and your Personal Shopper will be set.



For example, in the screenshot above, the Personal Shopper will not start bidding until the auction price reaches $5.00 and will stop bidding once the auction price reaches $9.00. The Personal Shopper will also use a maximum of 25 bids in this auction.

Whenever someone else bids on an auction where you have a Personal Shopper, your Personal Shopper will place a bid for you so that you are the latest bidder. A Personal Shopper is an excellent way to bid on an auction you want to win without the need to be in front of your computer. You can manage your active Personal Shoppers by visiting "My Personal Shoppers" on the "My Account" page.

How to Pay for an Auction
If you're reading this section, then congratulations on winning an auction! We know you're excited about your new handbag and we want to get it to you as soon as possible. Go to the "My Account" and click on the "Won" link. You'll be taken to a page with all the auctions you've won, but not yet paid for. Click on the "Pay" link to claim your new handbag.

Before we can ship your handbag, you need to enter your shipping address if you have not done so previously. Click on "Add a Shipping Address"

Just like when you purchased bids, our partnership with PayPal.com makes payment easy and secure. Click on the PayPal "Pay Now" button of the auction you want to pay for and complete the payment process. Once you've paid, we will package and ship your handbag, and email you the USPS Delivery Confirmation Number. We hope you have a splendid time looking haute with your new handbag!
